He taught me how to play poker just 6mos. ago. I wondered why he played, thinking it was just a stupid game with 'luck' being the only determing factor. One night I watched him as he played on my Pogo site and won me tens of thousands of tokens in a short time and was at this point I could see it couldn't only be luck!

I began playing the freerolls, with Railbirds being my favourite but started to get frustrated cuz it seemed like I would never cash! Yes, there was a time I was even saying "I'm not playing anymore and for sure I don't want to hear another thing about poker!" Then I placed 1st of 4,000 in a freeroll, mostly by sticking to the Sklansky starting hands in NLHE. That first place got me hooked (again) and I began cashing in the freerolls and gradually with more frequency.

On to the $ buy-in games.... well it's been up and down in them, with SNG's being my favourite although I seem to do better in large field mtt's. I've even had days now where I'm taking down the 18-plyr. $5 sngs on Fulltilt,.. all from some intial small cashes in the freerolls.
