Welcome one and all to my page, let me take a moment to tell you a little about about myself. I'm 35, married and have two children ages 6 and 2. Originally born in Kentucky I moved to Florida and took a job 1995.

I started playing poker online about 2yrs ago, It kinda gave me something to do late nite when suffering from insomnia. In the beginning I played at partypoker and had some success, always being able to maintain my bankroll with a mix of single table and lowlimit cash games. Every once in while I would have a good finish in a large multi table and actually be able to pull some money out.

A friend told me about doyles room so I went there and fell in love playing there, the room had a much smaller amount of players so there were fewer bad players that you had to make it through to get to the money. I was able to build a very nice bankroll and I made more money there than I did working my parttime job, so I started playing poker as my partime job. Its was fairly lucrative. Doyles room was like an ATM machine, I was always able to to take money out. Then the worst thing ever happened, they shut out U.S. players and I was forced to move to fulltilt.

Wow, what a difference a site makes. I know im not the best poker player, but I believe that I have solid skills, but fulltilt was awlful. Since I am a low stakes player it was hard to make it through the number of loose bad players to try to cash. I have struggled there ever since. I made a move to Pokerstars but found that to be even worse than fulltilt. However I have been fotunate to atleast maintain my bankroll at both sites, hopfully Ill be able to break through and get that elusive win. On a high note(puff puff) I hear doyles room will be opening up soon. I cant wait to go back there, but im sure it wont be the same as it was. One can only hope.

Some of my other favorite things to do are, fishing, playing with my kids, and anything MUSTANG. I am a HUGE mustang fan, Ive owned 8 different ones over the last 16 yrs. My life just feels out of sinc when I dont have one sitting in the driveway.

My goals here at railbirds are pretty simple, I want to meet some other players that can help me improve my game, and enjoy the social side of poker. When your part of a community you can find games that have several members that you see on a regular basis and can build a sort of poker relationship with them. Another goal that I have is to play in the WSOP ( who doesnt want that) I know its a little late this year but next year im going to focus on the money rankings and see if cant stay at the top and have a shot at a free ride. So all of railbirds at the top look out next year cause steede is going to bring his A game and give you a run for your money.( lol, we all have to have goals).
