I am a player who learned the game (hold'em, stud, stud hi-lo,etc.) on the live tables of the Sycquan Indian reservation outside of San Diego, CA., while stationed on 32nd Street. After years of up's and downs on cash tables, I quit playing to pursue the family life. The recent online and television boom of the poker community is when I took the game back up and figured out this is not a simple game of luck. Middle age, life in general,a deeper appreciation of the patience as well as the maturation of that trait in myself (have three kids) that is required to be a successful poker player have improved my game, as well as make it more fun than ever. Tourney play has recently become my focus, small buyin mainly, but any game gets my blood pumping. Love the game.Pipe Dream....Play one of the holdem events at the WSOP. Peace.
