Hello,>>
>>
My name is Michael Ange. Welcome to “My Page”>>
>>
People visit these sites to find out about other Birdies. So, I will attempt to tell you a little about my self.
I am a simple person without too much to write about. The log cabin I was born in was a small one, sitting on a hill top, over looking the beautiful city of Norfolk, Virginia. >>
I was raised in the City in which I was born, Norfolk. And went to school in same.>>
During the Summer of 1954, I went to sea in the United States Merchant Marines. Plan was to go to sea during the Summer months and return to high school upon return to States.>>
That never happened, I continued going to sea after the Summer ended, and never returned to high school.>>
Consequently, I did in later years, get a AS Degree from Tide Water Community College, and a BS Degree from Liberty University, Majoring in Adminstrative Justice.
Other than serving my Military Service in the United States Marine Corps Reserve from 1958 to 1964, I have worked either on or around Ships for the remainder of my ‘working life’.
In addition, I owned and operated a Marine Repair Company for 19 years. The company was MBACO Marine, Inc, t/a Mbaco Electic Company. We also gave that up upon retirement.
I am a licensed Master Electrician and Master HVAC Mechanic, licensed in the State of Virgina.
>I was in Korea in 1954 and in Viet Nam in 1969 and again in 1970 while serving in the Merchant Marine. For which I recieved service Medals for serving in War Zones.>
>In addition, I am presently (but not active) a Captain in the Virginia State Guard. Although not active in the State Guard, I am still considered a member, because it is a life time appointment. Where as all able bodied people, are responsible for coming to the aid of the State of Virginia when called upon to do so, in case of emergency. Basically it is the State Militia. >
>As a side line, I was an Reserve Deputy Sheriff in Galveston County, An Aux. Police Officer in the Galveston Police Department. An Aux. Deputy Sheriff in Virginia Beach and complete the Virginia Beach Aux. Police Academy and became an Aux. Police Officer in that city.>
Since retiring, at the age of 68, ( I am now 70 years of age) I took up on line poker as a hobby.>>
While at the Play Money tables on Poker Stars, I saw a player with the screen name of ‘freeJustman’ and his logo was a blue bird. I ask Free what did the bird stand for, and what was Railbirds .Com, written under the Avatar.>>
Free, invited me to join Railbirds, which I did. And, have been very happy here.>>
I now live in Virginia Beach with my Wife Evelyn, Grandson Blake (who I am raising) and one little Poodle dog, Barney.>>
I have made many friends at Railbirds and have improved my Poker playing skills many times over.>>
That’s about it Birdies. Cya on the felts. >>
Mike Ange (mange)
I spent many years, also, as a Private Investigator. Don't let the TV shows convience you that it is an exciting job, because it is very boring. I have spent many long boring hours, at nites and also in the day time,, sitting in my car, waiting for some one to come out of a house or appartment.
Some times, you could sit in a bar sucking up brewskies, while watching a protential suspect. This part, my wife did not like, so insisted that I did not renew my PI license. In which I comlplied. LMAO.
Some times, people would see me sitting in the car or van and, knowing I did not belong in the neighborhood, call the police. Then, along comes a squad car and drag me out of the car. Once, my ID was produced, they would leave. But, by then, the cover had been blown.
I could tell you a hundred stories about being a Private Investigator. But, won't bore you Birdies at this time.
Just remember, don't become a PI (Private Investgator in you are looking for excitment.
