I happen to think Railbirds is the best site of it's type - that does not mean it's perfect in this life nothing is.

I think that the anonymity of the internet gives some people license to attack/whine/complain instead of trying to resolve the issue - most issues can be resolved when the intent is resolution.

As most who know me know my big pet peeve is unnecessary combativeness - although those same people probably have witnessed my own combativeness, The fact is that for mature adults discussion and resolution of issues is often difficult but preferable. The times I have been in a public "argument" I felt justified in defending myself but childish for having to do it in that manner.

As I said acting "grown-up" is often more difficult but shows a level of maturity and intellect not available to those whose first instinct is to start an argument or stir up trouble.

Starting an argument and namecalling is also much easier than playing poker well - isn't it?

I make it my business to not associate with the always-whining -people - they are really easy to spot and they are in the minority.

(For the record this is a general comment and not commentary on any specific event)
