Description

I am 21, have been playing all poker games for about 3 years. My favorite is Omaha/Omaha Hi Lo, but I consider myself a well rounded poker player and play alot of Horse games and I enjoy alot of Hold'em. I prefer cash games, but have been trying to improve my tournament play, however, there are not alot of card tournaments where I'm from, so alot of my practice comes from online poker. I enjoy being a member of online poker communities, railbirds has some of the tighter internet poker players I've seen, even in the freerolls, they play tight. Hopefully I will get good position shortly! See you around

I would like to talk about pocket pairs with you too. I have conflicting opinions based on the size of the pair, my position on the table, and what is happening in the betting leading up to my position. I think its easy to say that with small pairs I feel more I have a better chance if I limp and hope to buy a set. If I buy a set I may continue to let the betting take place unless I see a potential draw with quite a bit of outs for my opponent (s), then I will move in. Otherwise for me its best to let them bet with their overcards and pairs and take down a hefty pot. If I don't flop the set there are not many opions for me so at least I did not lose too many chips seeing the flop. I will post later my opinions about mid and high pairs. see ya later and hopefully on the F.roll.

Hey Zack, Sure we can share ideas on different scenarios. Mine are more thought out as far as position, stack, value, pot odds, play leading upto me, etc. I do not think that one should concede to admit he is a certain style of player. I try to adapt to the flow of the table. If I am too agressive then I can scare off players and create a table image that doesn't build pots. Thus not getting paid for my big hands. But if a start to get burnt on my slow play by chasers then I can change gears quickly. I might have been a completely different player from you tonight and next time might be your mirror image. I promise I won't try to mentor.LOL. You don't sound like you need one. Throw the age out the window and we can be just 2 poker players. Later for now.
