Married for more than 30 years, 3 kids, 1 still at home other 2 flown the nest. 2 grandchildren who we see every day. Still pretty active, Play football (soccer), golf and tennis regularly. Got into country music a few years back and now a massive fan of guys like Garth Brooks, Alan Jackson, Lonestar, John Michael Montgomery, Tim McGraw. Got a big library of country cd's and dvd's. Went to LA January 2008 to see Garth at the Staples Centre. Fantastic experience. Highlight of 2009 was visit to Nashville in April. We just loved it there and I promised myself I was going back soon. Looks like it will be 2011. My youngest daughter is moving to LA in September 2010 which means I am going to be out there quite a bit. Only 1 hour from Vegas so looks like a few visits are on the cards.

Garth Brooks at the Staples Centre in LA in January 2008. He did 5 concerts in 2 days at the same venue for the Southern California Firefighters following the fires in 2007. I flew out from Glasgow, Scotland on Friday morning saw him on Saturday night and flew back on Sunday. Best way to beat jet lag - dont sleep. The guy was awesome and anybody who is into Garth will know that the trip was worth it.
