What are the "TEAMS"?
It was a cold rainy night ... a few of us gals got together and thought it would be fun to form a small group to play in private tourneys!

Well, one thing led to another and we decided the "Queens" needed some "Kings" to play with!
And so the hunt was on! Before long, we'd captured our "Kings" and the concept of the "TEAMS" was born!
We all wanted small, friendly games. After the "TEAM" formation there were many requests to join our little group. Since we had Kings and Queens already, we opened it up to form a full deck of cards plus Jokers.
The original 5 Teams (As, Ks, Qs, Js and Jokers) and all the remaining teams, "Ducks" through the "Dimes", have been claimed!
WE ARE NOW PLAYING WITH A "FULL DECK" !


TEAM GUIDELINES
How do the "TEAMS" work?
The TEAMS are made up of 4 members - each member representing a suit.

We are not a Clan, but rather a "TEAM". The difference being is that each TEAM can only be comprised of 4 members, plus one registered "alternate". There are no leaders or co-leaders, however each team will have a "contact person".
To be a TEAM member means making a commitment to that TEAM, a commitment to show up for the monthly BOTT event, to comment on BOTT blogs and show support & congrats to winners, and to "represent" and be active as a TEAM member.
All we ask is that you are polite to all TEAM members and refrain from verbal abuse, animosity, and in general, just mean-spirited chat. This is our "BOTT", but it still abides by the F.T.P. rules and if a member acts in any way that is in opposition to F.T.P. rules, any member of the TEAMS may report the "abuse" to F.T.P. (All TEAM members must provide their F.T.P. name to be included on the TEAMs Roster.)
We started the "TEAMS" to have nice friendly games with our RB friends and we believe every member feels the same way.
Be supportive of YOUR team members, but also of ALL the TEAM members.

Every group needs representation in order to accomplish certain tasks. It is the responsibility of the Founding Members to accomplish those tasks for the “TEAMS” as a whole. These responsibilities include but are not limited to, forming and scheduling BOTTs, setting up dates and times, making any necessary arrangements with the poker site to host the event, maintaining the TEAMHome page, updating the TEAM Roster, blogging the BOTT information and helping to facilitate any matters that may affect the “TEAM" as a whole or Railbirds as a community. WE DO NOT GET INVOLVED IN INDIVIDUAL TEAM MATTERS UNLESS IT IS DETERMINED THAT THE MATTER WILL AFFECT THE GROUP AS A WHOLE!
SHARING OF PASSWORDS WITH NON-TEAM MEMBERS WILL RESULT IN BEING BANNED FROM THE "TEAMS". ONLY TEAM MEMBERS and "REGISTERED" ALTERNATES MAY PLAY IN BOTTs.
TEAM membership is by private invitation only. All TEAMS are full (or pending) and membership is currently closed. Membership must be approved by TEAMHome.
