Upon hearing of your organization's participation in the upcoming service, I must honestly say that there is a personal sense of relief in this difficult time. As a friend of Don's, it is very comforting to know that an organization such as yours stands by our troops and their families. I cannot describe in words how wonderful it is to know that there are still patriotic Amercians out there who believe in the same ideals that Don fought so hard for, and paid the ultimate sacrifice for.

Patriot Guard Riders and all others that were there to help with your mission. I just wanted to let you know how grateful our family was that you were there in Bayard NE to honor CPT Scott N Shimp as well as shield and protect us from any potential protestors that may have been at my brothers funeral as well as at his arrival to the funeral home in Scottsbluff NE . I cannot express what a comfort this was to my family, especially my mom. Although no protestors ever showed, it was quite a spectacular sight to see all of you lining the street, with the American Flags waving, and you saluting a man that few of you knew personally. It is people like you that make us proud to be Americans and made my brother proud to serve and give his life for our great country.

I am a parent and I wanted to say Thank you to all that rode from Camp Shelby Mississippi to Southaven Mississippi to bring my daughter and the other soldiers home to waiting family members on the 30th of Sept. I thought that was the neatest thing I ever saw. I also would like to say thanks to those who allowed my husband, son, father-in-law and 2 extended family members to join in in the ride to bring my daughter home they were able to join in from Grenada to Southaven to bring her home to her mom. And I thought that was nice and I think if it is where we can if we can ever be a part of bring home any of the other local troops I would like to be a part of that as well..... I am learning to ride so I think that is one way of saying thanks to them for what they are doing for us every day they put their lives on the line for us... again thank you to all you men and women for bring the troops home to the waiting families on that wonderful day....

Subject: CW4 Robison Mission

I wanted to drop an initial note to let you know the local PGR participation for the CW4 Robison mission in Florida was outstanding. These guys were perfect examples of all the good things PGR stands for. They endured the sun and the heat and stood in respect for far too long. The family was totally blown away.

We are all fortunate to have you and your people there to support out fallen heroes.
