My table that JAG1024 made for me with love.

This table is very special to my heart.

Few know me here for who I am off the felts. I was injured at work 5 years ago and have a severe neck injury at C6-C7 blown disk. I has caused numbness down my right arm and into my hand where I have little feeling. It took me almost a year to be able to operate a mouse and the keyboard again with a bit of problem. My right arm will just go into spasms, shaking, twitching etc. It was actually fun playing in a local poker tournament not long ago. People at the table were taking it as a tell that I had a good hand and fold, fold, fold. I took 4th and was pretty satisfied with my play.
I am a martial artist and self defense instructor, well up until my injury. I did not start martial arts until I was 40 yrs old and it was more for the spiritual aspect than the self defense for me. I grew into it in leaps and bounds and attained my 1st black belt in self defense and a 3rd degree brown belt in Shudokan Karate. I taught children self defense for 5 years in 2 different cities with 3 classes a night twice a week. Even after 5 years now of being away from my students they still call me often to see how I am doing and if I would help them out in one way or another. This is a proud feeling for a teacher that they have had such an impact on young students in their life. I still help one of my sensei's (teacher) in a weapons defense class a few times a year that helps to keep me active.
I would play poker usually at a home game on weekends. It was a dealer call, so we played a lot of 7 stud and Jacks or better among others. It was a friendly game among friends who just sat around playing cards and getting a good buzz on. The game broke up several years ago when a few of the players moved away. Then my injury had me almost house-bound and I found Poker Stars and began playing online and was introduced to Holdem. We had played holdem a few times in our home game but it was not a focus to players and some players did not like it at all. I met a friend online and he introduced me to Railbirds and I came here for the Freerolls.
I have been following the Native American pathways (Red Path) for over 15 years now. I am a member of the Red Wolf Clan of the Rainbow People. I had been invited to attend a Sweatlodge ceremony by a lady I worked with when she heard me speaking one day. My first Sweat was on Dec 30 with 2 inches of snow on the ground and in the mid 20's. It was such an enlightening experience for my mind, body, and soul. I had been searching for a spiritual family and I had found them. I had been asked to leave several churches because I spoke out so passionately about false teachings of the christian church in general, and they feared the spirit that welled up in me and spoke so passionately and powerfully.
At my 2nd Sweatlodge the following Spring I was honored with a Canupa (sacred pipe) by Red Wolf. I am now often called to lift my pipe in prayer for people and do it with a humble spirit. If at anytime anyone of my friends or Railbirds here needs an advocate for prayer, you need only ask and I will lift my pipe for you, your family, or friends.
May Wakan Tanka, creator of the heavens and the earth, bless all of my Railbird friends and Razor family, and their family and friends. Mitaku Oyasin (all my relations)
Now I want to introduce you to Magnolia Mae (Maggie).

Maggie was 6 weeks old here and is a Snow white with 2 Ice blue eyes Siberian Husky. Maggie sleeps funny on her back all sprawled out. Everytime we go into the bathroom she follows and jumps in the tub wanting us to turn on the faucet so she can drink. We have to really watch out when we shower or bathe to be sure the door is closed solidly. She will push the door open and jump in with us.

Maggie update above. I have uploaded several new pics of her. Check out some of her new pics.
Here is Ashley "Miracle Child" helping Pa cook some breakfast.
