My name is Will. I'm a college student at UGA currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance. After school (which can't come soon enough), I hope to obtain a job in either the Investment Banking or Equity Trading sector, and hopefully work my way on up the corporate ladder to get my own piece of the pie, as the Jeffersons put it.
Business (and especially investing) is my passion. There's never a moment when I'm not thinking about the best way to allocate capital in a way that minimizes risk with a maximum return. I think this is why poker interests me so much; I view poker and investing as two interrelated disciplines sharing a similar philosophy. In each pursuit, one must obtain (and retain!) the discipline to bet when the payoffs outweigh the costs, and to reload and try again when you get a bad beat.
I've been a Hold 'Em player for a couple of years, but recently my friend teflonjon001 has been tutoring my in the finer points of Omaha and Omaha H/L. Hopefully, with time and practice, I can become more profiecient in both of those games, as well as many more.
