I live in Northern California (Eureka) with my wife. I am a semi retired Real Estate Broker and am just waiting for my wife to retire so we can travel and enter a poker tournament or two.

I have been playing poker for over 50 years but Hold-em and Omaha since October 2006. I have always been a fairly good player but not long on luck so hold-em and Omaha are a real challenge for me.

My best win was in Bristol, CT in 1979. I was able to take my wife up to the diamond counter at a jewelry store and tell her to pick out anything she wanted (I was having a good week). She picked out a small, non diamond ring. I asked her to get something else because next week I might not have the money I had right then. She didn't and the next week I didn't have the money anymore. She still has the ring and still loves it so all is good.
