It has been my honor to be of service to my fellow man. The path to the place in life where I was equipped with all of the tools to execute that service was at the very least arduous. It was A path less traveled, but was mine alone to negotiate. I have had many trials and tribulations as all of us who pass through this plane of existence. At times it was evident that the recepients of the service could care less for they were only after their own selfish ends. There were times when my "own motives and actions" were selfish as well, this I guess is A part of the learning process, and a trait of being A spirit in the "human condition".

The wonderful aspects of being a serviceman were the tangible rewards of seeing the growth and healing of another human being, and the flowering into excelling at what ever they decided to undertake. That for me was the "carrot at the end of the stick". There was no amount of financial reward that could even begin to approach the compensation of seeing another human being become once again A whole and healthy, productive member of the human race. Then enter into the service of others, just as A person of service had aided them in their time of struggle and need, they now do the same thing for another, Wow what a gift ,,knowing the appreciation and resolve, and that the person is of such high and ethical character that they realize that the gift given to them was not the "help" provided for them, but that the "help" they provide for another is the true reward.

I have lived in this life as well as I could, I have made many missteps and errors in judgements, but these were not all bad, for these were the lessons that taught me to recognize the pitfalls and traps of this world, they were the "tools in my toolbox" I used to good effect later when faced with similiar situations, I had a basis for identifying and taking steps to find a solution to a particular problem or situation, I could use this to be of "service" to those who were at a juncture in their path that was similiar to one in mine.

I of course lived through the years of selfish, self interest, looking only for what would benefit me, and many times at the "expense of others" For i truly didn't care, nor have any compassion for my fellow man. It was all "about me" to the exclusion of all others and if it affected their lives adversely well "so what" They would do it to me was the weak justification used to lie with the aftermath of "screwing my fellow man out of whatever i could get" The saddest part of that kind of outlook and behavior is the "consequences" At times A giant case of the "why me's" Why am i not getting what i want when i want it. Why are others being promoted when "I" am much better than them, yata yata yata. Spending my time lamenting the fact that "I" was misunderstood and"I" deserved more and"I" am better than those others who were getting what "they wanted" , but "I" was being left behind because no one understood "ME".

Then came the time and event that another was sent to me, to be of service and show me the way out of my personal abyss. He showed me the path to enlightenment and well being, he taught me how to be totally honest with myself, and therefore honest with the world as a whole. He helped to set me on the path less traveled, but for me the most worthwhile endeavour of my lifetime, I am thankful for his intersession on my behalf, that he saw in me the possibility of good, and that he helped to lead me where i needed to go to find "myself". My life since that time has been better than my wildest fantasies could of ever dreamed it up, I don't have bad days anymore , just "bad moments" and now have the "tools" to deal with them and move on rather than allowing them to hinder my daily progress, I am so very thankful that he took the time to set me on THE PATH LESS TRAVELED !!

MY FACE IS SET , MY GAIT IS SWIFT , MY GOAL IS HEAVEN

MY ROAD IS NARROW , MY WAY ROUGH , MY COMPANIONS MANY

I CANNOT BE BOUGHT , DELUDED , DISSUADED , DELAYED , OR DIVERTED

I WILL NOT FLINCH IN THE FACE OF SACRIFICE

NOR WILL I HESITATE IN THE PRESENCE OF MY ADVERSARIES

OR NEGOTIATE AT THE TABLES OF MY ENEMIES

I DO NOT HAVE TO BE RIGHT, FIRST, TOPS, RECOGNIZED ,PRAISED,REGARDED,OR REWARDED

I NO LONGER NEED PREEMINENCE,PROSPERITY,POSITION,PROMOTIONS,PLAUDITS,OR POPULARITY

I NOW LIVE BY FAITH , WALK WITH PATIENCE,AND LABOR USING PERSONAL POWER

I WON'T GIVE UP,SHUT UP,LET UP, UNTIL I HAVESTAYED UP,STORED UP,PRAYED UP,AND PAID UP

I AM A WARRIOR FOR GOD ,AND WILL PREACH UNTIL ALL KNOW ,AND WORK UNTIL HE STOPS ME

AND WHEN HE COMES FOR HIS OWN, HE WILL HAVE NO PROBLEM RECOGNIZING ME

FOR MY BANNER WILL BE CLEAR!!!
