I started playing poker at Paradise poker.com. about 2 or 3 years ago and it wasnt until i finished 8th 3rd and finally 1st (over a 2 week period) in paradise's freeroll that i started taking it more seriously...i found myself in small stakes games around the city of Montreal as well as arranging my own games .Now i play regularly on both the net and live tables and to date I've earned more then i've lost playing the incredible game of poker. I find myself reluctant to make the big step to higher stakes because i believe there is still much for me to learn..and many amateur players to take advantage of..I've recently joined fulltilt and pokerstars and have began a small bankroll from nothing on both sites(why deposit money if there is free money to be made!)

On FULL TILT I've qualified for both the PokerAfterDark and Aussie Millions sec round tournies (best ive done is 86th in sec round of PAD) aswell as earned money in both the canada freeroll and normal freerolls(making it to the final table on both).

On POKERSTARS ive struggled a little bit more in the freerolls but still managed to make it to the money on several occasions (45th in the CFL challange, top hundred in the quebec freeroll) as well greatly increasing my bank on the small stake tables

The nickname 5 card clyde came about when I started playing poker I got lucky continueously with the hand beating poc aces with trip 5s on 1 occasion and beating ace king with a fullhouse on another people started calling me lucky 5 card. then I joined paradise poker .com and I needed an alias I didnt want to have lucky in my name so after a bit of thought I arrived at 5 card clyde.

My goals for the comming year are to compete in the Mariam Charity Event held here in Montreal in the winter of 2008.(where the top 20 go to Las Vegas to compete for 9 seats at the WSOP as well as a bounty of prize money..) I also would like to work on the aspects of my game that need to be perfected(patients ,timed agression, reads, the ability to fold big hands and to bluff with no hand.)

Besides playing ,watching ,and reading up on poker I enjoy sports, nature, video games, staying in shape and just having an all around good time , I love to kick back with some brews and go fishing with my poker buddies or just sit around and tell bad beat and great victory stories. (Im addicted to poker help me!!)

I guess its only fair to mention the players that molded me in to the player I am now, or at least helped to make me the player I am.. THANK YOU ....KING_SLIDER...WHISKY RISKY.. i wouldnt be winning without u guys... See You On The Felt......Till Then Keep Making Them Pay......
