I'll let you know how I do on Bodog with it. I just got $5 from a freeroll on it.

Me personally I am not a fan of fulltilt. I think its to boring, and they have too many people there... I prefer AP and cake cause they have smaller tournaments to have fun and play your own game in.

There isn't a limit on how big you can get. Its mostly a factor of starting and Alaying well until you have a full bankroll B:not busting out the first few bucks you've made.

thats fantastic!

im going to start playing more decent tournaments. I usually just stay within my roll and play tournaments within $20. My best finish was in a $10 + 1 tounrnament on full tilt. Out of 700runners i finished 11th. Only won like $70 though

despite some tourneys being "cheap"...
they have the "looser" and the "tighter" players.

go play 5cent/10cent blinds NL holdem....
almost no showdowns.... everyone gives everyone else
lotta respect and play really really tight...
the people that likes to showdown on those tables...
will just get busted soon enough.

bigger buy-ins.. invite bigger gambling.. not
better players.... just bigger gamblers.

i learned this early on when i was very active on
partypoker.

At the 24 + 2, you are seeing a lot of players getting in with the 50 FTP points. So, the begining game is going to be rather low limit style of idiots trying to chip up early. I never understood this strategy because they don't know how to manage a big stack after that!

If you can play tight and play position early, you should be able to make the money. Placing higher is a good thing. Nice going.

I've always taken the 24 + 2 ticket and gone for the $200 buyin on Sunday at FTP, your ROI is much higher and more worth it. Though I have only made the money once out of 5 times in that tourney... I have never bought the buyin, I have always 50FTP satellited.

Congratulations on your finish.

I can't say I've never deposited, but the last time I cleared my bankroll, I swore I wouldn't deposit again until I tried Chris Ferguson's experiment. He went from zero to ten grand. I figured I'd give that a try. I'm up to $52 from playing freerolls and low limit tourneys... so yeah, you can be successful with no deposits. It might just take longer since low buy-in play can be a little like playing roulette.

I just recently logged back in and I'm gonna see what I can do with just freerolls. I've deposited too much money over the past couple years and lost

About building bankroll with freeRolls. Remember, you will spend a lot of time not winning. The hours you put in vs. RETURN is really horrible.

A lot of players who do this go up too fast, only to lose what will amount to be 500 hours of work in a $20 tournament. Chris Ferguson didn't do the $1 to $20,000 overnight. It took a long time and an unwaivering ability to manage his bankroll. Something hardly any player can ever achieve.

So good luck to you all, take your time, you're going to devote a lot of time for minimal reward... use it well.
