Default Pokerstars Freerolls

I've noticed that pokerstars only have freerolls that are qualifying rounds and you dont win money in them, but you progress to another tournament. Are there any freerolls where the prize is just cash?

Default RE: Pokerstars Freerolls

Yes, there are a couple. However, they are by invitation only. I have been invited to one, it seems that for the most part the only freerolls that directly awad cash at poker stars are ones that still cost FPP, or are for other places then the us.

It's something that kinda irks me about Pokerstars, although I love the softwares ease of use. Trying to come up off of freerolls there can be often painfull to say the least.

Yes, the Pokerstars freeroll system sucks. You need to qual in top 99 out of 10K, then you get to do it again on the weekend with any hope of actually making money. You can log 7-8 hours of poker and NOT cash in their freeroll system. While the round 2 tourneys put $2000 up for grabs, it's truly a pathetic waste of time and overall experience if you fall short.

Bottom line: Pokerstars wants you making deposits.

yea i was in one of those tournaments the other day and ended 373rd outta 12,000...i was pretty annoyed i finished so close! anyway my full house was beaten by quads so couldn't really have seen that coming. It is a lot of work to get into the money but if it was so easy pokerstars would go bust in no time.

Angry PokerStars is the cheapest!

Oh, they think they're such a big deal! Signon with them, get practically nothing in terms of bonus, credits, dollars, etc.

Their freerolls offer nothing also. I don't have time to play in 2+ tournaments just to get a tiny piece of $50.

Blah!

I myself play in pokerstars. It is unbelievably hard to make any money without depositing. I have made 0$ with the freerolls. But it is a thrill trying over and over...but just a waste of time.

i've given up on pokerstars now. I came 105th out of 5000 in a WSOP qualifier. 50 people go throuh to the final qualifying round. I came 134th and 144th in the Hubble freeroll were 99 people go through to the $2000 freeroll. It's just so hard to win money from scratch on pokerstars. The only freeroll that gives you direct cash is the 80 grand qualifier and that's just a lottery.

Default RE: 80k Satalite tourney

Not to mention that if you are just two minutes late to register for that one it is closed. Last couple of times I tried to sign up I went right at opening and still didn't get registered in time...two minutes, lol.

It is where I have been doing the freerolls. However, recently I've been concentrating on Fulltilt and Ultimate Bet.

Best of luck to you all out there in poker land!

Yes all those tournaments like Bellona Invitational and so on offer cash prizes, but you need to be invited in order to actually play it..

The satellite tournaments (like Hubble, hawking) are just promoting you to the Weekly Round 2...
