Question Tournament bankroll management

So most of you know the story... a kid starts out with $25 and builds to over a tousand in several months. My limits have been about 1% for MTT's an and 1%-3% for 8 or 9 person SnG's. After reaching a peak of $1150 I have dropped to about $950 a drop of like 17%. Should I be worried (I do multitable)? If not when should I start to worry.

One more thing
I have bankroll tracking software which has helped a little since i play all the games in H.O.R.S.E. and NLHDEM. ITM% has remained around 30% the entire span of the data
but ROI% has dropped. typical of Atypical?

thanks in advance for your comments

yes bankroll managemant is a big key. your doing good just use a small percent this way you dont lose too much and still get a decent pay out of it.

I guess you can just visit officialpokerrankings.com and I am sure they have tracked all your mtt’s and sng’s too along with percentages. Not sure how good your personal bankroll management system is or if it’s even comparable to this site. You have to expect a losing streak in poker. It does happen to the very best too. This is just the nature of the game. Now, your losses could also be attributed to your level of opponents too. Perhaps it’s best to move down a notch and try softer competition a while. Maybe, you can rebound that way. Like you I made my bankroll from freerolls and made it all the way to $1200. Here’s a big mistake I made though. I cashed out a large portion of that and then went on a losing streak. Don’t make this mistake. Losing streak will happen so just deal with it and play through it by playing softer opponents for a while, but do not cash out your bankroll, until such a time that your bankroll has reached a much higher level.

First of all you are doing GREAT! And you are doing the right thing. A 17% loss can be expected and your BR management allows that to happen with no pressure on you at all. Continue playing in the games you are playing. You are over 3000% profit.

About this time you should be improving your game. Reading, studying, and experimenting with different styles. Make an investment in your game. After I developed a BR online I started reading the coaching sites forums and saw some of their videos. Bought some of their books and did a trail run on PXFactor. Those videos helped my game a lot.
When I felt I was ready went to a poker coach on a trip to Vegas to find out what I could do to improve my game. I won 2 out of 5 tournaments at Caesers.
Youve built a good solid foundation. Keep it up

Could be variance, either you are hitting a downswing, or you were on a heater when you built it up. All you can really do is analyze your own play honestly, and decide what to do from there. Try and avoid tilting when you are stuck, and be as focused as you can. Your BRM looks pretty good, so, not much you can do. Good Luck!
