Default Hellmuth busts with A-Q in main event 4 years in a row

A-Q is a good but vulnerable hand to play in turnaments. Four years in a row, Phil Hellmuth has been eliminated from the main event of the wsop holding A-Q. Should he stay away from A-Q in the main event next year just as Ivey should on the wpt?

A-Q is still a good hand even if Phil Hellmuth has gotten dropped with it. If you aren't even going to play an A-Q then there isn't going to be too much left TO play..

I like to play AQ agg until played back at...Its not a hand you want to commit a bunch of chips too if there is a ton of action in front or behind.

If you hold AQ, you don't want to see:
AK << this is the reason a lot of players stay away from AQ
AA
KK
QQ

"good but vulnerable"?? pocket aces are good but vulnerable too. every good hand is still vulnerable. to stop playing AQ is to light money on fire.

If you're short stacked, like Phil was this year, then sometimes you really don't have much of a choice with A Q. Phil misplayed a hand earlier that I think cost him. But the A Q he just didn't have any choice.
