Default winning at freerolls

i'm just curious how long it took some people here to win anything at freerolls from the time they started until their first win?

i've only been playing them 2 weeks now..i've made two small cash wins...less then a dollar on each...and i made the weekly round 2 on pokerstars placing 55th out of 12,000 on my 4th try at it.

my game has really improved in the past two weeks...i don't make very many donkey or tilt mistakes now....could be a tad more aggressive on some plays but with the tournaments i've been playing...i'm more or less focused on getting in the money first (perfect example...i had pocket queens earlier today to my opponents pocket jacks...had him crushed but a king came on the turn and he went all in from 1st position...could have gone but i was 5 places from a money finish, lol)

i'm not trying at all to brag here because i know some people have played a long time before getting anything...i'm just trying to pace my learning curve here before i might decide to throw a few dollars into this, or just keep playing free rolls to build a bankroll.

would appreciate your thoughts...i don't have anyone local to turn to here that i know is into online gambling...cheers

It took me a while to get anywhere on the Full Tilt freerolls. When I switched to a more aggressive style of play it seemed to work much better. While I don't recommend you play like this in cash tournys, seeing a lot of flops was key for me. Once there you really have to determine what the goofy people will bet at, what they won't fold and what type of hand you really can draw to. Plus, if you get it all in with an open ender or a nut flush draw and lose...it was a freeroll anyways.
