Beginners Guide On How To Register For The FreeRolls At Full Tilt & Poker Stars


WELCOME NEW RAILBIRDS


You have made a wonderful decision joining RailBirds

First off let me say that all of us railbirds are glad to have you join our site. We welcome all enthusiast who share the thrill of poker as much as we do.

At first you may be confused as to how you can obtain access to our daily freerolls at Full Tilt Poker and Poker Stars. Everyone will tell you that the first step is to be active. How you ask? Simply go to the frontpage and click on the daily Information posted there. You will see the LATEST FORUM POSTS, LATEST UPDATED BLOGS, NEW BLOGS, CHAT, LATEST NEW, DAILY POKER QUIZ along with other interesting facts. Come see what others have to say. Find out interesting facts. Learn from other players about what they have learned, what they think about, and all the interesting information posted daily for all railbirds. Leave feedback. Create you own BLOG by clicking blog and let others know all about you, games you have played, maybe stars you know updated facts about, anything you want to write about. Please use the railbirds code of conduct when posting and answering post. Etiquette is very important here as we are striving to have a membership that everyone will want to participate in.

Members will tell you to post pictures, videos, anything that you feel others would like to see on your home page. Look at your profile and fill in the information so others can get to know you a little better.

Be active in the chat rooms. Talk with fellow railbirds. Once you are welcomed into our community you will receive an email congratulaing you on your new membership. It will tell you where the freerolls are being held at, the time they start {registration begins 1 hour before game start}, along with the password for the day to enter the freeroll. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE OUT THE PASSWORD. If you ask fellow railbirds, they will tell you that you have to become a member and if you are accepted you will receive an email with the information.

Once you receive your invitation and password to play in the tournaments go to Full Tilt and Poker Stars and look around to get familar with the site.

FULL TILT:

1. Under the Full Tilt logo you will see 2 tabs. One for real money and one for play money. Click on the REAL MONEY tab. No you don't have to deposit real money in order to play, this is how you get to the tournament.

2. You will see the tabs labeled :Hold'em, Omaha H/L, Omaha Hi, Stud H/L, Stud, Razz, Mixed Games, TOURNAMENTS, Sit &Go, Special, and Pro Chat. Please click on the Tournaments Tab.

3. This step you don't have to do, but it is helpful when looking for tournaments. If you are new, this step will help you till you get familar with the way the site looks for tournaments.

Click on the CUSTOM TAB. Now make sure you have the boxes checked for Hold'em and Stud H/L. These are two of the tournaments railbirds participate in. If you want you can make sure all the boxes are checked, but this makes it harder to find the tournments. You will be told what type of tournament you can gain entry to on your invitation. To make finding the tournament esaier, click this tab only and uncheck the other tabs. You can always go back in and change this at any time.

4. Now you are ready to look for the magical tab everyone has been telling you about. The PRIVATE tab. Please click here now. On your invitation you were given a code and the time the tournament starts. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THIS CODE OUT. Please deduct time difference from or add to the Eastern Time scheduled for the tournament. If in doubt ask a railbird member in the chat room and someone will help you if they know. Let them know where you are located and time zone. Now to find the tournament !! You will see the ID, Date, Game, Type, Buy-In,Status, Pls. Look under the Buy-In tab. Now you are looking for the FREEROLL line. Click these till you find the one that tells you it is for railbird member only. Cllick and register.


POKER STARS

Poker Stars is Similar to Full Tilts registration with just one variation:

1. After you have logged into Poker Stars you will notice the same type of tabs you looked for at Full Tilt. Hold'em, Omaha, Stud,Other Games, TOURNEY, Sit & Go, and Events. Click on the TOURNEY tab. Now look below these tabs and you will see the All, VIP, Regular, Satelite, Special, Freeroll, and PRIVATE tab. Click on the PRIVATE tab. Now scroll down till you see the BLUE Railbirds.com freeroll. Click on this. Register and have a fun and profitable time at the tables.

I Hope this will help someone out. I was helped all the way through this process by a very patience railbird. GOOD LUCK AT THE TABLES and enjoy your membership at Railbirds. PLEASE REMEMBER TO NOT GIVE OUT THE PASSWORD.

I'd actually recommend not clicking on the customs tab or having a tourney filter. It would just create future issues when we play Omaha or Razz you'll have to uncheck/recheck and so on. But like you said its completely optional.

Definately a good post though for helping people find the freerolls.

I love this post it does give a lot more information than I had. I also have a question. I receive passwords for full tilt but I do not get pass words for poker stars how does this work.

Nice bit of info here. Hopefully it will eventually help me out, to get the passwords.
