any good pokermovies out there ? not tvshows, but movies

"Rounders" is a good movie - but its old, its from the mid 1990's so its a little dated in that its pre-internet poker, but its still a really good movie, 21 is also a good movie although its about black jack, not poker

Literally...the only good poker movie. The movie "lucky You" has potential, but Rounders is a great poker movie. When poker got really big around 2004 and 2005 most poker players that started said they got there inspiration from that movie...go see it...you'll love it!

Maverick of course!!!!!! Awesome movie!

I totally forgot about Maverick. Maverick is a great poker movie as well...But, the poker in Maverick isn't as good as the poker in Rounders though

The poker in James Bond Casino Royale had a lot of mistakes with their tournament they were doing. They ended the tourney when there were still other players remaining after the "final hand" as they just focused on James Bond and the villain.

Rounders is the best one I've seen. Lucky You was alright.

Did anyone watch the ESPN scripted drama Tilt? It was ok.

FX had a comedy called Lucky that was ahead of its time as far as the poker boom. It would have done well a year later as it debuted in 2003.

Rounders, & Maverick Are The Two Only Movies To Watch Pretty Good Poker. I Suggest Rounders First Though By Far The Best Poker Movie Thus Far.

Rounders is by far the best poker movie ever. Worm was a wonderful self destuctive character.

Cincinnati Kid an old Steve McQueen movie is not too bad. Love how his lady friend works jigsaw puzzles. I've wanted to take that approach to life a few times myself!

Agreed that Rounders is the best poker movie but Casino Royale was quite good too!
