I like Rounders (I've been trying to find the instrumental theme music from it) and the Cincinnati Kid. I kind of liked The Grand, which was an Improvised poker movie with David Cross, Ray Romano and a bunch of other people, but I think they didn't use the poker pros enough. (Funny scenes include Phil 'The Unabomber' Laak registering for the main tournament, and the sign up guy says, "Oh, The Hillside Strangler?" and an amateur calling Doyle Brunson 'Tex Brunson' and then when he learns his real name is Doyle, keeps telling him that his name is a tell.)
I just saw Lucky You, that was a crappy Romantic Comedy. And I laughed really hard at Sam Farha's acting when he had his one speaking line.

rounders ofcourse, then an oldie the cicinnatti kid with edward g robison and steve macqueen, lucky you, maverick with james garner and mel gibson, the newest (blackjack) 21 is fair but supposedly based on a true story. and you can always google to find what your looking for, they'll even give you the best ratings. have fun!!

Default Tilt

I have the first season of Tilt on DVD....I recomend it to any poker fan...especially if you plan on going pro.

Does anyone know if there was ever a season 2?

You're kidding, right?

Rounders is definitely the best poker movie.

I second the statement about Tilt -- I was watchin my Playmakers DVDs and was reminder of Tilt. I plan on watching it again, I liked it a lot the first time it aired, but, I was not a poker player at the time, so, I would probably like it better.

PS - Deal sucks.

Rounders is ok, but the thing about older 'poker' movies is that they play poker WRONG!, soo frusrating!

Rounders is good, KGB taught me not to eat my oreo's while playing live games . Lock, Stock And Two Loaded Barrels is technically about the game and it was a decent watch. Casino Royale was good on the basis it was James Bond and it involved the game, can't go wrong with that combination.

Just saw 'All-In' for the first time in my life, and it was probably the worst movie I've ever seen.

I really liked rounders, John Malkovich with his "russian" accent was great to watch. And how he rained the table with chips in the heads up match was just nice. Good acting by most characters there!
