Thoughts on High Stakes Poker going off the air

that is very true but putin it one a different network im the same i nver look to see wats on GSn but i hope they dont take if off the air betweee HSP and WPT i love watchin those two they are my fav two shows to watch

To my knowledge HSP is not going away....I hear the new season will air in Feb 09...also will include omaha.....

I love to watch high stakes poker but idk if i could be going in ahnds for over 100 thousand dollars. I would be going crazy.

I was glad to hear that HSP is coming back and that it will include some PLO. You can bet the PLO shows will include Patrik Antonius, David Benyamine and Sam Farha.

If they are serious about having Omaha, I would love to see Kaplan play for a couple of hours again and have someone again from the table do the commentary.

HSP is my favrite show too. Hands down. But I gotta say, it's the little things, I think that the non poker diehards don't get.
Here are my list of changes if I ran the show.

Get new commentators, Kaplan is pretty lame.
Don't have Daniel N. on so much. He's either trying to get too much tv time or wining about a bad beat.
Get a better rotation of players, Phil Lach more often, Gus Hanson, Phil Ivey. There are plenty of quality players that aren't on the show. So it seems like the same ol same ol.

Oh ya, never have Jamie Gold back. He isn't that good and he's proved it. If the long time pros want his money do it off screen.

Good to hear about season 5.
