FTP is so much better than pokerstars. I played on pokerstars for a couple weeks and i have never lost to more runner runner straights or runner runner flushes. It was so frustrating playing against of people who don't know how to play. Full Tilt has better competition to get you a better poker player

Are you serious? That is one of the most ignorant things I have ever read. OK, poker is a game of chance. Runners happen. THE SOFTWARE IS RANDOM--> FULLTILT DOES NOT RIG IT. Anyone who thinks that poker is rigged is a donk. Just because you have had no luck on there, does not mean there is anything wrong with the game. Perhpas it is something wrong with the player. I am up money overall on Fulltilt, and I have friends that are up hundreds of thousands from only playing on Fulltilt. Tilt is one of the best rooms online. If you can't win, maybe you should change your play.

One of the biggest reasons people think that it is rigged has to do with HPH (hand perhour). The odds of seeing crazy hands increase with ever hand that is played. You can play so many more hand in a short amount of time online that it might seem like you see a lot of weird ones. Rest assured that poker is not rigged, and playing strategy is what brings the victors.

I havn't tried Full Tilt much yet, only started playing online again a few months ago, but I do play on PokerStars. It's a nice site, I like the SnG set up and the wide variety of players there. There's a decent amount of fishes, to make a profit, and a decent amount of good players when playing SnGs, so its not a push-shove game. I think I might give Full Tilt a try soon though.

I split time between PokerStars and Full Tilt, have money accounts with both and play both as I do believe there are two different "cultures" between the two sites. At the moment, I dont have money in either account as I cant afford to play for real money, so Im mostly confined to the Freerolls and whatever FTP or FPP tourneys that I can afford.

I do like FT because I think it is more presented better (especially since the major overhaul a couple of months ago). On top of that, there seem to be many more players willing to chat during tourneys, which is always fun. But with that said, there seem to be a helluva lot more jackasses on FT that whinge and cry cause of a bad beat, and some of them can get pretty damn abusive as if they just lost their house on that hand. On the other hand, PS seems a lot less friendly, but most keep to themselves. I do think that PS attracts a lot more variety of nationalities, but you never know who is from where when you play FT.

Overall as far as gameplay goes, I have suffered more bad beats on PS than FT. But to balance that, I have escaped a lot more times when needing to suck out on the river on PS. I guess it comes down to the fact that PS seems to reward players who play a lot more hands than those who pick and choose their moments. There also seems to be some terrible players on PS, but I guess when you have 10000 players enter a Freeroll every day, 4 times a day, you are gonna get players that just plain out dont have a clue. But you expect that in a Freeroll. FT's Freerolls seem to have less bad players, but much harder to get into Freerolls due to the 2700 limit. Again, Im gonna fencesit as I like both.

Anyways, for those who havent skipped onto the next post out of boredom, bottom line is that I think Full Tilt is a better poker room to play, but not by much. Pokerstars has its own charms, but I personally prefer Full Tilt.

I like both sites, but i have been playing more at fulltilt lately
i have noticed the difference in the way people play at fulltilt you get so many people on PS that will go all in with crap and end up winning i think its more of a contest to see how many play money chips they can get ...lol I don't usually play for real money however i won a little at PS. hopefully i can win some at F/T..cya at the tables

obviously pokerstars... the tournaments are better even than party, the guaranteed ones pay out many more places than other sites too... so good even if you're not a winner!

honestly, I don't think any site is BETTER then others. there are definitly sites with a wider selection, or more cool features, etc. but each site has a different feel and different players. and you got to play them all at some point to know what is good for you. and don't stick with that forever, if you play PS and FTP, and you like FTP better, then play on there. but if you go on a dry run after a few months, think about taking a few days to play on PS. then go back. sometimes a brief break is good for the head, and every once in a while you may find you need to change sites.

right now I prefer FTP for the MTTs. but I like PS alot, just can't keep both funded at this moment. I think you should try both at some point tho.
