Cool Razz game play

I'm new to the site and would like to have some disussion on Razz game strategies.
First off I know how to play and enjoy playing. First question is on opening hands? whats the largest card of 3 that you will play with?

Most players follow the general rule of selecting starting hands with three cards lower than about 8 or 9.

One thing I always do is when action is up to me and there are a lot of cards higher then mine, I will complete the bet on third street to try to pick up the dead money. There is a lot of money in the pot with antes and bring ins, and your opponents should see your low card. ALso, if you are the last to act after the bring-in, complete irregardless wut u are holding. The guy bringing it in will mmostly fold because he opened the pot with the highest door card.

As for a starting hand, my preference is three cards below and eight or a two card combination of a-2, a-3 and 2-3. Hands can improve strongly or decrease in value with more cards, but these are just my recommendations.

Roberto the completion with lowest card usually only works in higher stakes, lower stakes play tighter I open up with 10 down and look to create actions. . . if you bet strong and get a good fourth with the right limits you can bet everyone out.

Best of Luck,
Jim

opening hands, i usually tend to play any hand i get with 2 low cards and one kinda high. only because the blinds arent very high and you may get lucky and hit low cards the whole time. and also, not everyone is there at the beginning so use that to your advantage. one time i remember, at my first table, there was just me and 2 other people actually playing, the rest were sitting out.

anyways, to get back on topic, i like any hand that consists of 3 cards 7 or lower. most of the time, i tend to complete or raise with 3 cards 7 or lower too.

hope that helps somewhat.
