i dont know what youre talkin bout.... i won money in razz sng...since the game is pretty easy, how can you not win.....just know when to fold

I figure I am gonna have 2 discards. At first I want to see my first probable discard no sooner than 4th st. As the game goes on, and I see how ppl are playing, I may try a discard showing up in my dealt 3 cards.

Tight play suggest 3 cards under the 8 to start.

Favorite might be 765 to start, leaves lots of room below my holding for improvement.

OK thanks for the info but do you play if you have say A2J and the only 2 peeps left have a K and a Q showing>?

I have never played razz but it sounds interesting I might start playing on play money first. thanks for the motivation

The problem wiht razz players is that there too tight...Your not always going to get A-2-3 lol..probably never...but take a gamble...look at the cards the other players have and try to work out their 5th highest cards...therefore two cards wont be included....if u can see a pair...one card is out and say a high card K...don't get too pot commited.

remember if u notice how people only play 8 or lower...you can always asume their not shown cards are those...but the chances of hitting high cards and pairs is also possible....and that goes for u two...its ok to have one of the three cards in your hand high...having the showing card a high card..can be good...if u work it well..A-2-K...can fool alot of ppl...getting u more bets..so people will try to do that with u

the best tip i could give u...is try to compare the highest possible 5th card...and u can work from there...but remember "what can go wrong...will go wrong"...so play safe and dont try to build the pot as ull find players usually do the job for u and its safe to bet and call but not raise in my opniion...unless its a certain win

as for ur A 2 J situation...and they have K Q showing..i would call/check...remember those three cards wont be your top five...uve all dropped a card..and out of the next 4 cards to come to each of u...only one of those cards will be discarded...your all on the same level...if u see someone has A 3 7 and two to draw still and they bet...and you got A 2 J 8 5 i would proabably fold..at that stage..dont get to pot committed

for some reason a lot of people hate razz. it's a cool game. not one of my favorites but i still like it.

you gotta see upto 4th st when u see K and Q. just check out their cards and play aggresively.
