We all know that pokersites "help out" from time to time.

Seriously. The arguments are just so terrible.

Anyone that believes the worst hand always wins, by all means, please go out there and go all-in every time you have 53os. See how fast you "win."

the funny thing is people dont even believe its rigged or they wouldnt keep coming back.

if it truly was rigged you would be better off playing blackjack or roulette as they at least wouldnt be *working* against you (well unless its online i guess ^^)

people get pissed because of a couple bad beats or because they suck (usually the case) and cant admit it to themselves so they bitch and moan about it

btw ive lost a bit of money playing poker.. some of it do to bad beats. not ONCE have i blamed the RNG. its either becuase:

a) just bad luck... yes u can lose with AA

more often than not its

b) i played very badly
c) my bankroll management was terrible

gee do you think a tournament could be arranged for just those players that think the games are rigged ? i would love to watch a game where NO ONE finishes in the money !!!!

I'm sure someone has a warped reasoning for this but I'd love to hear it.

Can someone explain why a poker site would rig the software to cause the hands in a tourney to play out anything other than randomly?

I can understand the accusations when basing this on small sites when playing cash games but honestly...when big sites have hundreds or even thousands of tables running at the same time, do you really think they care who wins or loses???

Bottom line, you play way more hands online than you would ever do live, and odd things happen in poker (I think we all know that).

I'm also willing to bet that you're not going "God this is fixed" when you're the recipient of the runner-runner miracle you won against someones AA :-)

I don't think people who claim "rigged" think their arguments through very well. First of all, they're not just claiming it's rigged, they're claiming it's so severely rigged that they can TELL just from a few select hands (lol). Basically that the percentages are horribly, horribly wrong. Now, if this were the case, not only would MOST of the people playing poker have noticed this, but most especially those who play at very high volume every day. And, they probably wouldn't play there any more. Strange, but I've never heard a pro claim it's rigged?

Secondly, if the numbers were so terribly off, it would be very very easy to prove. There would be sites all over the internet with actual data and it would basically be a known fact, not a random speculation of a small group of people.

As for those who claim that only certain situations are "set up," as though some overseer at a poker site was sorting through the millions of hands being played a day, and reaching down with their mighty hand of doom to only smite certain individuals... I can only say, WOW.

AA will loose to an under pair about 20% of the time (1 in 5)one on one assuming all in pre-flop

Odds your AA will loose to an under pair twice in a row 1/5*1/5= 1/25

Lets keep going.... lets say four times in a row ( i have had this happen) (1/5)^4.......1 in 625 unlikely yes....However hundreds of thousands play everyday, and it is going to happen to someone.

Yes every time as an individual trial is 4:1 favorite, but im talking compound statistics in this case...

IN SIMPLE ENGLISH 625 people get aces four times in one day.....odds say one of those people will LOOSE ALL FOUR TIMES. This is just in reference to pre flop all in one on one; multi way pots and post flop in all probability bring the odds against you more often

My point again is NOT RIGGED....

let's say it is....WHY ?????? what is their motivation for rigging the games? and just WHO is doing it ????? HOW are they doing it ?????

you WILL lose with AA vs 7 2 os once in a while !donkeys do win some of the hands they play !!! the "big stack fix " so many of you babble on about is nothing more than a guy being on a RUSH !!! are you all gonna tell me you've NEVER had a rush where it seems you hit everything you draw to ? rushes happen !!! sometimes you go card dead for what seems like eternity too !

sometimes you're at the final table & a short stack goes all in with A 10 off & you call with AA & LOSE when A 7 8 9 J hits the board !!! i know 'cause it happened to me on UB

Bad beats happen. If you don't like them, you are in the wrong game. There is a reason the game goes beyond pre-flop, otherwise we'd all just be playing a 2-card version of War.
