According to Official Poker Ranking, almost all Pokerstars stars have negative income from online tournaments. Why is that?

HiTom,

It's me again. I actually do have a question for you. In fact two!
I saw you on TV during the second invitational tournament for poker pro's who have written books on the subject of poker.
One of the commentators said that you were peeved that you had not been invited to the first televised invitational because you have written and published 13 instructional books on poker, more than any other player/author.

First, were you really peeved about this?
Second, of all the books that you have written, which do you consider your best effort to help educate an avid and moderately knowledgeable poker player?

Lightbulb Building a bankroll

Hi Tom,
How would you suggest one builds a bankroll from nothing. I play many public and private freerolls, but can never seem to get my bankroll to take off. I have read articles on bankroll managment, but am still struggling. What would you suggest? Thanks

A pro said in his book that he favors connected cards like J 10 MUCH more than Q 10 or J 9. What do you think Mr.McEvoy?

hi
my question concern final table deal in the big turnnys
have they been outlawed or are they still made but it left to the players to honor them.
reason why i ask is i remember back to moneymakers win
when he suggest a deal and sammy refused.
since then they seemed to be blackballed.

hi tom, good to have you with us even more so to have you in the dragons! My question(s) for you are, with the poker boom in the usa and europe do you see poker solidifying itself in modern culture or will it be a fad and fall off? Secondly you say your main ambition is to become world champion once more theoretically your chances are 1 in roughly 8000 depending on the starting field, realistically with the way you can have a bad day, make bad reads and get outdrawn on what would you say your chances are of going the distance once more.

BTW...Thanks for doing this Tom....you the Man!
I was 33 when I realized I could possibly make a living playing poker. I have played the game since I was 5 years old.

Lets see if they pass the test of time--say 5 years or so. If they are still winning they are the real deal. So are the older pros who have already passed the test of time

Tom, an honor to get to talk to you. Your little red book "Beat Texas Hold 'Em" was the book that really made things click for me. You and Mrs. Smyth did a wonderful job. By the way I have most of your books. Thanks for all your knowledge.
