Default Good Advice

And Finally: When playing with FISH, don’t tap on the aquarium!! You'll scare the fish!

Why on earth would you tell a player how bad he plays? So he can play better and take your chips?

Please not at my table!

Let sleeping Donks lie!

All the yelling and complaining in the world can't change that.

As for everything else I couldn't agree with you more Viper, but also I have to say heckling goes for people you eliminate as well. If you eliminate them they are already in a bad mood without you calling them a donkey and insulting them as they walk off, just say gg and let them leave in peace.
I can agree with this, and I do much the same most of the time.

However... There's one difference. The guy with T3o calls off his average stack against another average stack preflop, runs into AA, sucks out and has someone completely different go, "nh".

Nice hand? Nice hand? If a guy says that, I will scream at them. I'm more angry at the guy who congratulates mr. T3o than I am at the guy himself. Sarcasm, maybe, but.. uuurgh.

Otherwise, I can agree to everything you guys have said, although table talk is quite important to me. Not about the actual play, mind, that's disrespectful. I will, however, make every effort to continue the table talking in general if I can. It makes the table more fun.

I don't mind some heckling, I don't mind it when someone is playing like a donk they are called a donk. Even a few choice words I can let go. But I do have problems when people start going on swearing rampages for 10mins, belittling peoples countries, families, religon, ethnicities, sexual prefference etc. There's no need for that at the poker tables. If we were at a live game you'd be given a time out if not asked to leave. So don't think you're a tough guy because you get to hide behind your computer.

And remember, arguing about online poker is like being in the special olympics. Win or lose you're still retarded.

Default To Those That Want to Ruin the Fun of the Game

Yeah and all the worse when you are out. Even though we all play poker mostly online, you need to remember that poker was originally a live game, played for fun and social interaction. Do you make friends by being an asshole? I don't, so don't act that way at the poker table. It just tarnishes this great game. If you want to be an asshole while playing poker rob a bank and do it in jail, because no one wants you in public.

If a player scores a horrible suck-out on me, I'll feel free to let him know how disgusting it is. But you definitely don't want to be the victim of donktilt.

truly a great thread to have, if only everyone who played poker online was required to read this would make things a little more pleasant.
