I am never rude in the chat. But sometimes I do stick around at the table to chat with other friends. I have also followed the "idiot" to other tables to see him get knocked out, but I never chat with him, just want to watch them get knocked out.

I fully agree. I think its in bad taste to be rude or offensive, mostly because of the mixed company(my family tried to raise a gentelman), but also out of plain old repect for oneself. I certainly am glad this had come to the attention of your forum n that u r trying to rectofy this problem.

Ive been at several tables that people would start cussing at the other ones that won and beat them, sometimes it is to hard for me to not say anything, but it has helped to quiet them a few times when I finally got tired of it and told them to quit whinning and then laugh at them. Other times when the one was yelling an the other saying something every now an then, I would tell the the quieter one to not let it tilt him out, an to block the other dudes chat, which on poker stars u can do, thank god lol

Hey guys its a FREE roll.

I'm one of the first few hundred people who Joined this community long ago...

Today at a Pokerstars free Roll I had to leave for dinner and thought I wold dump my chips..

it worked out....

But I get back from dinner and THIS is in my E-mail

Hello Rodney,

It has come to our attention that during Tournament 100463010 you made
some comments during the play of a hand regarding team cooperation or
activities intended to assist particular players at your table:

Rodney21a: gotta go Wsopstar rais to me in my big blind all but 1 chip
reraise the flop and my stack is yours... 8/19/2008 7:03:48 PM

Rule 9 from our tournament rules page states:

"Poker is an individual (not a team) game. Any action or chat intended
to help another player is unethical and is prohibited. Unethical play,
such as soft-play and chip dumping, may result in penalties, including
seizure of funds from the offender's account and/or termination of the
account."

The full set of tournament rules is available at:

Poker Stars - Poker Tournament Rules

Comments such as yours violate this rule. In future tournaments please
refrain from making any comments that could be construed as suggesting or
agreeing to cooperative play between players. It is against the rules to
assist or to suggest that anyone else assist another player.

You are a valued player at PokerStars and I'm sure you understand that
these rules are in place to insure the integrity of our games for all
players, yourself included. Thank you for choosing PokerStars as your
online card room.

i know it is sometimes hard to hold back when someone makes a stupid call that u dont like etc..but in the end u have to think about whether or not making a rude comment will give u the power to turn back time and things will go differently? nuh-uh..over time u will play so many hands that a bad beat will just roll off ur shoulder and the next one comes along

let's be nice people..we owe it to the players and to ourselves

This community suffers when people have attitudes like your's. Dumping your chips to a specific player is cheating. Whether it is a freeroll or not. Personally I think you are lucky to have just gotten a warning.
