I just mind the fold part

I voted raise to 10k, I's enough to get him out if he has nothing. If he had AJ or a pair, he will push and I will call. Gotto gamble anyway right? If he calls, so what? He calls with 72off and I only have 10k left hes an idiot, I'm still moving allin no matter what, atleast I got the value out of it.

If you know hes gonna call your allin with pretty much anything, fine go allin. It depends on the stacks, the player who raises, the player sitting in the bb.

Raising to 10k is a ridiculous move. Your opponent knows that you have a good hand. If you raise all in he may think you're bluffing and attempt to call with a bad hand. However, the 10k raise is a red flag that you're not bluffing. You also limit yourself after the flop with not many chips to play with. You could get callers on flop chasing draws, callers that wouldn't have been there if you'd have gotten them out on the flop...

I would think that by raising only 10,000 you would be representing a little less power than you actually had ,drawing them into the hand further, or leaving you something left if you do not make the flop.

You have to force all in , don't evn give him a thought of wanting to see a flop. I can eat a pot with ak on suit. I have extreme confidence that one of three chances are going to score big!! I am shocked that more people arn't getting this one. No limit hold'em is a game of force if you have the bigger stack and a strong hand on suit to boot!!!No compation on the table odds are up big time!

I'm sorry I've lost with big slick tooo many times to go all in against what may be a pair in which case I'm risking my life on a race, not to mention AA or KK in which case I'm in big trouble.
I'll call and hope for a good flop.

Remember - you can go all in 9 times and win - you only have to lose once.

I agree that this isn't an allin situation depending on the table that you are playing. 10000 is more than enough to send a message to the button player. I chose a raise to 10000 because that is my style of play in the big blind. And it's not like 10000 is a feeler bet, so many people try to steal on the button. Like someone said earlier you could still be up against AA/KK, in either case not putting all of your chips in seems to me like the correct decision.
