I guess I was assuming I have 8 2 off suit like I do so often. I hate to get caught trying to buy a pot because that would hinder a bluff with a bigger pot down the road. Not that i really know anything.

well i got it right, for a change, i keep thinking they're trick questions, so i went with my 1st instinct. whoooaaa!!!

Basic strategy says if you are on the button and everyone folds to you and the blinds are tight players you make a standard raise with ATC.
