Default I disagree again

I will not say anything because it is early but I strongly disagree.

Default need to play KK a bit more aggressively

actually, the quiz-master missed something in the explanation why my choice to call is wrong. you checked the flop! along with the 3 others still in the hand. this sign of weakness may have
given the sb hope that his middle pair is good or at least good enough to use the A on the board as leverage in a semi bluff. probably need to play KK a bit more aggressively .

Default dont agree this time quizzy...

maybe calling that bet is correct also. your opponent is only betting 200 so its not a very hugh bet. i think that fold and call are both correct answers.. who agree with me?

Default I Disagree!

I dont c it that way at all! if Everyone checked on the flop, more than likely nobody has an ace, cuz y would u check an ace on the flop with 4 people in the hand. even if u had ace rag, not taking a stab at it on the flop is dumb.

That being said, more than likely ur Kings are good. the guy could easily be betting with middle pair or even be bluffing the ace on the turn. raising to 500 tells him that u are serious about the hand and makes him make a descision.

If he folds, he had nothing, if he calls then hes being timid and ur probably good. the only move to worry about is if he reraised all in.

Default I also disagree

Normally, I would not be in this situation because I would have bet the flop yesterday, but now that we are, I believe raising 500 is the only move that gives you information and control. As others have said, since everyone checked the flop, you have basically invited someone to take a stab. By raising aggresively you squash the bluffer or middle pair holder. Worst case, you get reraised and then you fold. Plenty of SNG's have been won with half stacks after the first hand. Coming back is not that difficult, especially with loose aggresive players. Folding KK on the turn in this situation is just too tight.

Calling is probably the absolute worst thing I could imagine. What do you do on the river when he goes all-in and you have no information? I have a feeling we may be asking ourselves this question tomorrow.

sorry but i dont think that calling is the worst thing you could imagine... for example if you raise 500 and then your opponent raise to 2000... what will you do in this case? and for example if he calls your raise and then another A in the turn and ur opponent pushed all in, what will you do? maybe if you call this bet and you hit K in the turn you could slowplaying by calling again his bet and raising in the river...
you are just wasting chips cause its obvious he has A and will called the raise...and in the case he is bleffing if you call his bet he would probably think you are slowplaying or you have an averige hand, so he will play more carefully or aggresive but thats depedns in his style of game.. calling and folding is correct.. the other are WRONG, but thats my opinion...

I said fold to this for the obvious reasons. Since I would not have checked the flop but I am put in this position I would fold here. I have only started with 1000 chips and only have 80 invested in the pot. Since the SB is the one betting, it is easy to see they have an ace, probably with a bad kicker hence their first check on the flop. They may have just hit 2 pair, and I am only looking at 2 outs regardless. It is still early, and since I played this hand badly, I will fold and regroup. Not too far gone to make it up.

Default It's the FIRST HAND

You'll get another decent starting hand guys. Settle down. Folding is the smart play here.
