Default The odds of bad beats

I've taken quite a few bad beats this week but I've started to take in the odds of each one happening, and it pretty much evens out. There are a lot of hands which i win because I had the best hand and it held up, they were just small pots and seemed somewhat invisible. Techically I looked at the number of bad beats I had gotten in ratio to the amount of hands that hold for me. Its about 68 percent of the time the better hand holds for me, which is acutally pretty lucky because the most of the time I'm the favorite I don't even have a 68 percent odd. Looking back on it, I'm probably suppose to lose about 1/3 of my hands to bad beats, bad beats kinda are suppose to happen quite frequently about 1 in 3 times... When i looked at things this way and I take a bad beat I'm like "hey I had 5 hands which i won with the better hand, about time i got a bad beat" it's really taken the anger and put my emotion in check on the table when I do get a bad beat.

good strategy.....avoiding tilt is crucial if you ever want to break out.....I did this for awhile because I suffered from selective memory........Another thing that will help is trying to avoid flips with bigger stacks. Thats not always possible, but you cant bust if you have them covered.
