Default Really getting tired of this...

ok so ya, yet another ridiculous beat, where i dominated him to start and he lucked out...

In the railbirds tournment - All in - Pre-flop

I flip over A K
He flips over J K

Flop comes - 9 10 5

Turn comes - Yup, Q

River comes - A

seriously, again and again and again...this is ridiculous

I feel like I'm becoming numb to those outcomes after a couple of years of it.

This is the truth.

After a while, they stop bothering you as much. I am at a point when I barely wince unless I have a made hand and it gets beat by two runners.

Losing a 4 to 1 favorite like you did is bad. You didn't have anything though. Moving all in is always a gamble. Be it with pocket aces or 2 7. You are letting the cards call the shots at that point.

is AK really an all in preflop hand? These outcomes are bound to happen... your not gonna win if you play your cards like this, much better to play hands like ace king after the flop with a decent preflop raise to narrow the field. ALL in Preflop is like playing bingo not poker.

bet 3bb is the best move, if he checkraise all in, you foldt. AK vs low/middle pair 45 : 55.
