One of my faqvourite games to play is PL Omaha Hi\Lo. I think its the fact that you don't have to have the best hand to get a piece of the pot.
I bought in to a $2.20 tournament on pokerstars that had over 500 entrants. I was getting good hands early so I was building my stack. I eventually got up to about 20,000 in chips when the average was about 13,000 so I was in decent shape.
So there is 2 people who have the same amount of chips as me on the table. I get pocket queens and 2 low cards but decide not to raise. The flop comes 2 J Q which of course initiates a bet of pot from me because I didn't want anyone to chase and hit their straight draw. I get one caller and sure enough it is one of the other big stacks. The turn comes, 7 which I know cannot help him so I bet pot again, he calls. The river comes and it is a 5 so I know that I definitely have the best hand so I bet pot again and surprisingly he calls. He had T K K which gave him a lot outs so I can see why he called the first 2 bets. This pot puts me in 1st with about 200 people still in the tournament.
Now something happens and I end having to sit out for an entire hour which I ok with because I figured I would cash. I log back in expecting me to be blinded out and to my surprise I am still in but with only 500 chips and there is a guy on my table with over 200,000 chips. So I pretty much had to keep going all in at this point but what helped was that the chip leading kept pushing everyone else out. So I doubled up until I had 100,000

chips with 20 people left I took those chips to the final table and I won the tournament. I couldn't believe it, my first omaha tournament win. Over $200 from $2.20.
Sorry for the novel.
