J6 heads-up #2
2008-08-03

You get J6 off-suit in a heads-up sit & go. You've only played a few hands, so your stacks are still at about starting levels, and you don't really have a read on your opponent. He raises pot to 120. What should you do?

Note that this is not the same question as yesterday - the seats have switched.

Fold
J6 isn't a bad heads-up hand, you have to be a lot more loose and aggressive than at a full or even sixhanded table. Raising is asking a bit too much - the hand isn't that good, and you'll have worse position throughout the rest of the hand, but folding is out of the question either. If you constantly fold hands like J6, your opponent will soon know that he can bet on loads of flops. Call here and make the decision when the flop comes.
