You're at a tight table. It's folded to you on the button. What should you do?

Fold (correct)
J9 off-suit is marginally better than an averga hand. I fully understand those of you who choose to fold, despite having the best position. I think raising is the best option but calling is the only wrong alternative today.

Call
Not a good alternative - you should take initiative in the pots you play if you want to play winning poker. You here have a chance of stealing the blinds with a raise. If you call, you'll give the big blind an opportunity to see the flop for free.

Raise (correct)
This is the best choice, I think. You have an average hand and face two unknown ones. It's a tight table, so you have a good chance of stealing the blinds. If the attempt should fail, you'll still have the best position throughout the rest of the hand.
