I usually only play 1 or 2 games a day. If I cash in both I will continue to play time
permitting. I do have those times where I will not cash in anything for a few days. I take
off as many days as I have not cashed

If I'm not playing well in NL, I'll play FL. If I keep losing, I'll either go to play
money or walk away from the computer altogether if I'm frustrated enough. I usually play
everyday but for the last 2 weeks, I limited myself to weekends and found some poker books
to keep my head in the game for the rest of the time.

What do you? I try to take a step back, and do something that gets out all
frustration. Usually killing crap on my x-box. Go do something with the family that takes
my mind off everything. Then I come back and try to look over everything with a clear
head.

Do you ignore it and just go right into another game and try to play out of it?
It depends on how much I feel it's getting too me.

Do you take some time off ? If so how long ? I wouldn't say I take time off
for any specific time. If I take a break or whatever, I do it for as long as it takes for
me to get my mind right. This could be an hour or it could be a day. If it takes longer
than that, then there is usually some major event going on in my life. No matter what
though, I don't want to come back until my mind is in the right place.

1hr, 6 hrs a complete day off? a few days off? a week off? Just how long is the
right time to clear your head shake off some bad beats and get back to the grind?
That all depends on the person tbh. The more you can accept that bad beats happen and a
percentage of the time they are supposed to win, and that really all you can control is
the decisions you make, the easier it is for you to clear your head and get back to
playing. Poker is a game of decisions, sometimes you can make all the right decisions and
still lose though, which makes the game unique from other aspects of life. So you gotta be
happy with your decisions regardless of the results. The sooner you can do that the easier
it is to deal with everything.

played the front nine at Congressional? I got one par!!! shot a 57 though lol, one hole
had a 10 :(

We used to play golf every day at the bar for lunch, first on Golden Tee and then on (the
much better IMO) EA golf . . . good times, I miss those days ;)

I checked this out, though, and it looks fun. Played a hole just to get my toes wet.
Hacked out an 11 lmao Had to take a drop twice, and 3-putted at the end. Looks like it
will take some getting used to. I think I'll get some rounds in before I'm ready to play
with the big dogs :)
