if he maintains his current average roi of a bit over 100%, then it just becomes a matter
of putting in enough volume to make the $$ he needs . . . I don't know what his needs are,
but if he can put it $100-$150 worth of games daily, he'll being doing alright
it's all speculation of course, but it can be done. It will still be work
hehe guys im kinda lucky right now, im still with my parents rent free paying only car
insurance so basically its a free ride. but right now im still trying to get used to 16
tbling and once i do ill be moving up to 5-22 buy ins :)
Figure out the win rate you need to support yourself currently Curt. Pretty sure most
people would need something upwards of a 200-300% ROI or better each month playing $2-$5
games.
Now I don't know what RK's situation is, and really it doesn't matter. However, he did say
he's doing it as a job which would mean he has to support himself, so he should already
know what his win rate needs to be in order to do that.
Woohoo! Another nice finish and a woohoo for another fun back and forth! Again, both with
valid points lol. I think slo-is correct, although royalkid is an absolute beast you gotta
make more then what you are making to live unless you get free rent somehow. If your
average buy in is $2-$10 you better play every mtt that comes up and never sleep if you
wanna make it, but I also have to say I've never seen somebody with so many final MTT
tables. You are a special player and best of luck.
I wasn't trying to debate you, why are you trying to make this about me and you? your
comment wasn't exactly encouraging, and I was merely showing support for his effort. And
if there was a debate, it wasn't about the ease of the job at hand, more like what
constitutes a winrate on which he can live.
Hey Curt did you see anywhere where I said he couldn't do it? Doubtful, in fact all I said
was it was going to be hard to maintain a realistic win rate. HARD, but not impossible.
Why so hard? Because of the extremely high variance of MTT's and SnG's.
Exactly what are you trying to debate me on? Saying it won't be easy?
there are currently 16 players over $100k in profit for 2012 just in SNG's on Pokerstars .
. . .
volume + higher buy-ins are the key to getting rich for sure, but there are a lot people
out there working 9 to 5 for $500-$800 a week . . . . I think you can make that doing what
you're doing now

Does everything have to be a debate with you? I'm not trying to discourage him, not
putting him down, nothing but stating a fact and wishing him luck.
2012-07-07 23:19:57
you i love you two !
2012-07-07 23:17:12
that all depends on his needs for a weekly income
2012-07-07 23:15:52
Good luck, going to be really hard to maintain a realistic win rate you can live off of
just playing MTT's and SnG's. Wish you luck
2012-07-07 23:12:55
