Blog comments - What's your play and...
I wouldnt play AT off out of position
Great Hughes, I had my reasons. But about the question?
i'm folding to his pocket pair
ditto what Hughes said - what were your reasons?
if no other info then fold
no hand no draw 1 over, whats the question?
interesting decision to make, I would fold because I don't have the stack behind me to make a big move here, the action pre-flop may eliminate 7-5 as a hand you would call $3 with, and believe the opp has 10's most likely and feels with the two check by you that you have some rag hand the opp has given too many cards to draw out on. Not good at cash games so take my opinion for what it is worth.
fold or all in, depending how your opponent has been playing
i;d bluff $5k to act like u hit the flush, if he calls then he has u

Reasons: I've watched this person raise from position for the past hour, and in the showdown end up showing hands like 9/6 off or j/5 off.
If you thought your opponent was stealing, you should have reraised preflop.
As it stands now, he's likely to play ATC's, so it is VERY likely that rag board has hit him somehow and he is crushing your Ace high... FOLD
flush? what flush?
well if he is raising with hands like that then he prolly paired on the turn or hit his 6 or 8 on the flop and wanted to make sure u didnt have the J. i'd more than likely let this hand go and try to bust him when i actually have a hand that will beat him... what did u end up doing?
I think I would fold. I originally thought you could reraise to try to represent a straight but that would be a tough sell. With no hand and not much of a draw I'm saving my chips for a better spot.
This is a cash game if you guys haven't noticed. if you have then disregard
I'm thinking he paired one of his rags, too. There are better places to take a stab against the opponent's loose play than this hand.
you really have nothing going there its a fold for me
i would have a hard time calling that big of a bet preflop with A 10 from the sb
(1) the UTG player made the raise if i read it right
(2)you are going to be out of position with a weak ace
with that being said maybe you had a read on the guy and felt like defending the sb. He check the turn instead of continuation bet maybe he spiked trips and is trying to get value out of it, or maybe he raised preflop with AK or AQ could even be an underpair to the jack like 9s or 10s in any case you are not in good shape the best case for you is he has 9s or worse so you would have at least 2 live cards.
AT THIS POINT I THINK YOU HAVE TO LET IT GO
* i said he check the turn i meant he check the flop
Looks like they are making a play at the pot to me. I would raise double their bet (10) and see what they would do. If they re raise I would fold. If they just call I would be even more worried and check the river, especially if a club comes.
my bad, i thought tah 6 was a club eyes are bad, then i have no idea what to do lol
I would fold preflop there for 2 reasons. Your out of position and you dont have the pot odds to even make that call. Gl at the tables.
