Two points, the 1st already pointed out above - please post the hand history; and 2nd) the ol' saying goes (and you're learning it): "There are three ways to play pocket Jacks - all of them wrong."
Good luck; keep it fun - play well & profit.

Uh, yea. There are some holes in your story.
Whatever the story, a complete hand history (allowing everyone to the chip distribution) would go far and evaluating what happened. As well, the villian's holdings don't explain the outcome of the hand so that obviously needs to be corrected.
Having said that, it wasn't an instant call. There comes a time when you've got to lay down a premium if you want to win a tourney. Since we don't know the chip counts and no history of the players involved, it's hard to comment.

BTW, it was also a freeroll, so what are you really worried about?
It's not like it leveled your bankroll or anything.
Those are the breaks, sir!

you're not a good liar, since that gives you a boat, bro. Nice try...

I'm not as inclined to go all-in before the flop, even with premium hands, as some players are, but in these freerolls I've certainly seen players push with a lot less than AKs.

JJ i's better than AK!!!

JJ is the most dfficult hand to play,,,,,if i dont get a hit on the flop i fold and never all-in

|
Onlysmokepot | Jul 17, 2008 11:08 pm |
JJ is only slightly better then A K suited. Something like 52% to 48%. I think it may even be closer due to you not having a J clubs giving the A K player a chance to use a J clubs in a flush as well as a straight..

i think you are RIDICULOUS
learn the hand rankings in poker before you make up some bullS%^& story

billyjustin | Jul 17, 2008 11:58 pm |
someone sounds like a liar. if that is true..than you won..unless you're that bad of a player and quit with a winning hand. And just to clarify the whole JJ hand...it sucks. Not that great of a hand unless in middle position without alot of preflop raising. Not a good hand...Just isn't on FT or in real life. Its usually only the better hand before a flop and then it's a big time loser most times after that.

I dont think that aChipd leader calling a small stack with KQ suited is a donk move. You just got unlucky on a coinflip
