This happened to me last night and I wanted to break it down an see how others (YOU) would play it…
It’s looking like a three part series I guess…. Next will be the turn and what would you do? The last will be the river card, what would you do, and what happened in the actual hand that I played in. Hope this works… Haha
You’re in the first hand of a sit and go and don‘t know any of the players. Blinds are 15/30. All have the starting stacks of 1500 in chips.
You‘re dealt
1)UTG folds
2)Next player Folds
3)Next folds
4)Next player calls
5)You call
6)Cut off calls
7)Dealer Folds
SB Raises to 120
BB folds
All limpers call the raise so there are 4 players going to the pot. Pot has 510 chips in it.
*** FLOP ***

Not only do you flop a straight, but you also flop an open ended Straight Flush draw!
SB (Original raiser) stalls for a bit and then bets 120.
Next player calls the 120 and it’s to you.
1) Would you just smooth call here to not scare anyone away?
Or do you raise to get some players out?
What is your move here AND why?

i would end up losing to a higher flush
but thats my luck!!!!!!!! not everybodies luck.

I would probably bet 4-5 times the bb and hope for the best..haha
Slow playing always bites me in the ass.

ALL IN
Haha I KNEW I was going to get alot of "I wouldn't have been in the hand anyway".
Normally I wouldn't be so I agree. You'll find out why it was called in the end. BUT! Having 2 additional callers should be a clue. Haha
I understand this may have been a bad play with a lucky flop. But if everyone could just humor me and continue with the situation for fun and possible future use...
