Even RB's encourage and reward donkey play

Sep 17, 2007 3:34 am Report Abuse

Won't go into hand details, but in the RB FR today, had another player dominated from the flop, and bet accordingly all the way to the river. Drew their flush 1 on flop, 1 on turn and then the river, and the chat comment was 'nh'. What's 'NICE HAND' about rewarding donkey calls??

Wonder why it happens? We even CONGRATULATE it !!...

sucks for you, but i still think that's the proper response to poor play. 'nice hand' in the chat window, swearing in the privacy of your home. don't tap the glass.

well considering you show nothing of the hand I can't really comment on wether or not it was a bad call.

He could have had a pair or other draws as well, without seeing the hand history I can't really know.

If it was truely a bad call all the way down to the river, then yes congratulate it, encourage it, it will only help you out in the long run. They won't get their cards every time, and more times than not you will be reaping the rewards of their bad play.

you say nice hand to encourage that type of play to continue. calling your opponent names will only encourage them to tighten up and play better....

which nobody wants to see...

Always remember, Railbirds is about being nice. No one said anything about knowing how to play poker! Lotto and slots rules apply when the cards are flying!
