Okay, this is like so totally stupid. I have somehow pulled a ligament in my foot.. don't know how, don't know when. It just started hurting, and continued to get worse each day. I finally went to the ER, was fitted with an air cast and prescribed some vicodin, and now have some time to play some poker while I keep it elevated for a couple of days (VERY BAD TIMING to be out of work, with school starting in a week).. lol. I have gone over the past 4 days trying to figure out what I did, but I can't come up with a single thing. Well, at least while I was there I got some antibiotics for this sinus infection... maybe I'll be in tip-top shape in a few days.. hehe

I started needing glasses last year, first time in my life. Bifocals to boot, the doctor says yep right age for it. So I am leaning back and reading the screen, my neck the next day is killing me. I had finally figured out that the chair was giving me no support and with my head cocked at a weird angle it hurt my neck. lol
good luck.and check your shoes.
OMGosh, you told me I would laugh, so I dont feel bad at all that I chuckled out loud!
You poor thing (lol) (still chuckling) Im sooooo sorry about all that, and a sinus infection to top it off
Get better soon hun!!! DrWifes orders!
no way, I said I was getting older. I didn''t even call myself old.lol. which by some people on this site, I know I am. lol
I was just saying, I don't play rugby any more so when I get hurt like that it doesn't make sense either.
lol, I am the same way...I have "magic bruises" lol
I agree with Roger1960...you need shoes with better arch support. Try Birkenstocks, they can be a little pricey but well worth it.
good luck, I hope u get better quickly!!
Saw the title to this and had to read...
I am going through something very similar, so I know how you feel.
My grandmother suffers from chronic back pain so I live with her to do the things she can't. Last week, I pulled muscles in my lower back doing nothing out of the ordinary, which is even MORE frustrating than if I were actually moving furniture or pulling a plow or building a submarine by hand (anything that would make it seem logical).
Anyway, here the two of us are, sitting around her house, whining about our backs and neither able to help the other. Pitiful, huh? (BTW, my scrip was Lortabs and Flexeril...woo hoo! And I ain't sharing with Grandma...
)
So, at the very least, enjoy knowing others are suffering with you. And at the most, GET WELL SOON!!!
LMAO.. well thank you for making me feel better, and for making me laugh! 12rianna... I hope you feel better soon and are back up and running as quickly as possible.
My ankle feels a little better. I've slept a lot and have kept it elevated. No more headache, and back to work for me tomorrow (with the air cast of course). One more day of laying around and poker for me!
Whoa...and I thought my life was uneventful!!
I hope you don't mind, but I linked this blog entry to the local suicide prevention center web site. You have may have already convinced hundreds of depressed individuals that their lives may not be so bad after all. ;]

When I was in High School (my freshman year) while playing in a football game, I broke a bone in my upper left arm (near the shoulder) and didn't know I had broken it for almost an hour. In retrospect, I know exactly when I broke it, but it never really hurt and I didn't try to raising that arm above level until almost half time. When I did, it simply would raise above level.
The doctor was puzzled until he took x-rays and said, "You snapped that thing clean in two." And it never hurt.
