ok everyone, we are all apart of a wonderful community here, and i really think we need to start being thankful for it......... its not just a poker forum where everyone analyses everyone elses hands, it is a place where people can come and talk about anything and everything, our link is poker, its makes us so unique, but also very vulnerable....... people need to start respecting how other people feel, how other people play, what other people are going through in their lives, what other people say and realise that not everyone is going to agree with everything everyone else says, there is nothing wrong with not agreeing, but being disrespectful or rude, or attack someone because they don't conform to your ideal of right and wrong is just stupid and hateful. we have nearly 26000 people registered now, so of course there are going to be differences, a lot of them lol, but not anywhere in the rulebook does it say if someone does not agree with u, u have to rake them through the coals, how about we try and keep open minds, when someone offers advice, if u don't agree, thank them anyway, they have taken time out of their day to answer a question, or comment on something u wrote about, it doesn't matter if u don't agree with it, and it definately doesn't give u the right to be rude or crude........same goes for on the table, ok so the "donkey" on your left caught that one card on the river that could take u down, "wow, nice catch" scream in your head, not on the keyboard
i guess i'm just trying to say, we make this site, lets make it stay great...........lets not stoop because we disagree, lets agree to disagree over some things, and keep smiling. we are the lucky ones, we have each other to fall back on for help and support and sometimes a shoulder to cry on,
maybe on the sign up sheet we should have to sign off on this...........
do u accept railbirds through richer and poorer, through happiness and sadness, in sickness and in health, and how bout we throw in RESPECT, its really not that hard..........
ok i've babbled on enough, now lets play some poker, keep smiling and good luck on and off the tables

Good Blog.
We need some one to write a "Code of Conduct" for Railbirds.
Be kind and treat others as you would have them treat you. ( Where did I get that Idea from) Ha ha.
As for me, My Mom taught me to be kind and not hurt anyones feelings many many years ago.

ok TheWall just posted a blog, and within a minute of it being posted this comment was left..........
It's a nice idea........however, the last vows I took have kept me in hot water for the past thirty years, and I vowed never to take any more.....
I promise to try and be a good Railbird, without the vow committment.
Best luck,

<Raises hand and says> ... I do
The last few days the ill feelings on the site have been rife ... Like any community we have to take the good with the bad and accept the fact that not everyone will be respectful and nice ... My grandmother always told us "If you can't say something nice then say nothing at all" there is no need to ridicule anyone ... Tolerance and patience are great tools that I try to use as much as possible (I'm not perfect and slip sometimes) ... Ok stepping off my soap box now
AMEN ! Ma'am.
As Ali-G says "RESTEPA Ma Homies"
