****NOTE often times I use special codings in the middle of a tournament to keep things neat and tighty.. they are just for my reference.

What is a bounty? A bounty is a dollar amount placed on a particular player's head (with their permission) in a certain tournament. If you knock that person out of the tournament you receive the amount of the reward.

How to post/claim a bounty AKA the Bounty Procedure:

1. GET THE PERMISSION OF THE PERSON YOU ARE GOING TO POST A BOUNTY ON PRIOR TO CONTACTING ME!!

2. If you wish to place a bounty on another member of Railbirds whether it be a Railbird sponsored tournament or a private tournament please PM me, Astrogini, with ALL the following information:

   • Tournament Date/Time
   • The Railbird Name AND Site Name of the member you are posting the bounty on
   • The dollar amount of the bounty
   • If the bounty will be paid on Poker Stars or Full Tilt (remember the minimum you can transfer on FTP is $5 so anything under $5 MUST be paid on Poker Stars)

3. The information should be sent to me AT LEAST ONE HOUR prior to the start of the tournament to allow proper time for the bounty to be added and for the members of Railbirds.

4. After I receive the information I will add the bounty to the Bounty Blog (Click here)

5. The member who knocks out the player with the bounty on their head will need to send ME a PM on Railbirds to claim the bounty and give me the appropriate their appropriate information such as their Screen name and the City/Location for Full Tilt or Poker Stars (depending on which site the bounty was payable on). If the member does not notify me within 24 hours then the bounty will be "unclaimed". NOTE: Please have your Hand History enabled in case we need to verify you indeed knocked out this person.

6. Once it's been verified that they are in fact a member of Railbirds. I will relay the information to the person that posted the bounty and payment will be made. If it's a newer member it will be verified that they were in fact eligible to participate in the tournament before the information is passed along to the payee.

7. They Payees MUST pay their bounties ASAP after the information is given to them as any delays could put your ability to post and/or collect bounties in the future in jeopardy.

8. I will then update the blog with the winner of the bounty for a time of approximately one week.

9. Unless I am informed otherwise I will assume that the was no problems with the transactions.

MYSTERY/SECRET BOUNTIES:

As with any other Bounties on Railbirds.com, Mystery/Secret Bounties must go through myself, the Bounty Officer, and follow all the bounty rules already set in place.

Notices about Early Bounty Deadlines: At times there will be early deadlines when I know I will be away. Typically this will be noted in a blog prior to the day of the tournament to allow enough time for you to notify me.

There are also times when the deadlines are earlier if it's a restricted tournament, or if you've had to post a bounty to gain entrance as in many of those cases they require 24-48 hours depending on the tournament rules and set-up, so please read the blogs carefully and get your bounties in on time.

Restrictions:

NO members will be permitted to post a bounty unless they have played at least five ranking games.

Should a person fail to keep up his or her end of the bounty, the officer would not allow them to post again, nor collect another bounty.

"Though we like bounties, Railbirds can't and won't help dealing with scammers in any way, so please govern yourself accordingly. Railbirds in the matter of bounties in official Railbird Tournaments will take a ZERO tollerance practice"

Always point other members to the bounty blog to get information on bounties for upcoming tournaments. DO NOT post any details in the blog.

1. Get the Permission of the individual you wish to post a bounty on if not yourself.
2. Send the following information to Astrogini via PM:

• Tournament Date/Time
• The Railbird Name AND Site Name of the member you are posting the bounty on
• The dollar amount of the bounty
• If you will pay the bounty on Poker Stars or Full Tilt (remember the minimum transfer on Full Tilt is $5 so all bounties under $5 MUST be paid on Poker Stars)
