Fellow railbirds,
There has been a lot of talk about abusive table chat in our freerolls lately. Unfortunately, in a crowd of over 20,000 members, there will always be some who act in a kindergarten way. They will be offensive and abusive and they will play the same tournaments as you do.
What is the point of this blog? Basically, to say that that we on Railbirds can't and won't act as police at the tables. That is the job of the support teams from the sites. We strongly encourage reporting abusive players to the support teams to allow them to take appropriate action. But we will not remove people from this site based on what they say somewhere else.
I also cannot condone responding in the same manner. It's equally childish and doesn't belong anywhere - not at a poker table, not at Railbirds, and not at any other place either.
I think most of us are adults here, adults who can act in a grown-up way.

me? well, I'll listen to it for awhile (unless it's directed at me! no waiting then!), then I open my mouth , I respond. yes, I know I most probably shouldn't but ignorance gets me and some times the player the insult is directed at is unable to respond in an appropriate manner, for whatever reason. I have a great command of the american language and semantics was a hobby(?) of mine for a long time, so come backs are easy and I like to shut them up. sorry, It's the bulldog in me! Not a good thing but the results will draw the abuse onto myself, (much easier to deal with then! lol) or shut them up. I love to play with the members here and the incidents are not so many for my tables - perhaps, as it is for others.
But I understood, railbirds need to show more class, with each other and else where!
oh and I wanna play at a table with railJoe! sometime! lol

whats r nest gonna turn into now with over 30k ppl, we may not be able to teach everyone cards,,but we can teach RESPECT AT ""OUR""" TABLES and what WE WON'T TOLERATE AS A FAMILY ON RAILBIRDS!!
