So I am signed up ready to play in the two Omaha Freerolls todays. As I am walking towards my office, I take a detour to the bathroom. You have to be ready for the long hall right? So as I am walking from the bathroom I am thinking I am hearing a squishing sound and sure enough the carpet is wet. I go into the furnace room and the drain for the dehumidifier is clogged and water is standing about 6 inches deep. So much for poker. It just figures. I hope you all had more fun than I did today!!
Oh well, time to burn some beef and drink some beer!

That sucks about the floor. I've had our sewer line back up 3 times in 6 years in this house. I finally dug up the line, and had Roto Rooter replace the broken pipe. Then just a few months ago (about 3 years later from the last sever incident) the hot water heater sprung a leak, so had to have that replaced too.
Make sure to pull up that wet carpet and the padding, or it will never get completely dry.
Mmmm..., but the beer and beef sounds real good.
I grilled some steaks last night and have a couple left over today and lots of beer in the fridge. Thank goodness for the mass buying power of Costco. Sure I only need two steaks for the wife and I, but since they come 4 to a pack, the more the merrier. And why get a six-pack, when Costco only has cases of beer?
Could be an early out for me tonight.
