bad weekend

talk about bad. if something could go wrong, it did.

one of my favorite poker sites is a new one that is trying to get out of beta testing. they seem like good people running it, but damn, they are having some problems [well, duh, the reason for beta dummy].

they found out they did not have enough numbers of nor large enough servers. when they got new ones, they tested with xp only for windows, so vista and windows 7 didn't work good. they fixed it finally, but it takes me over 1 and 1/2 hours to download with my dialup. i won enough there over the last 6 months, that i funded a couple of freerolls. ended up not getting to play in 2 of them cause i could not get the download to work right. ended up downloading 4 times and still didn't get a good copy. talked to them in live chat, and they downloaded from where i did and had not problem.

was signed up for freeroll at absolute with a site something like ofc. tried to login 45 minutes early and it would not accept me, until first level was finished. then i went right in. but of course, on absolute, if you don't play a hand in the first level, you are out of the game. complained to them and they are putting me in a private freeroll they have on thursday. something they did not have to do.

so today i log on here, well tried but "site could not be found".
